Dr. Sobia Kirmani-Moe
Psychiatrist and Master's in Social Work

Dr. Kirmani-Moe is the creator and owner of Collaborative Solutions in Psychiatry and loves empowering people to learn about mental health, solve problems and progress towards their goals.  She has spent the majority of her career in the mental health industry as a clinical social worker or a psychiatrist gaining expertise in areas such as ADHD, addiction, and children and families.  While being a physician is her primary job function by day, Dr. K also enjoys being a mother and theater mom.

Amanda Reda-Goglio 
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Amanda believes patients should be treated from an individual holistic approach, combining both mental and physical health. Amanda strives to be non-judgmental with her approach in treating patients who struggle with mental health issues.  Amanda would like to help by providing individualized pharmacological therapy.  Amanda looks forward to meeting you and assisting you through your mental health wellness journey.

Briann Modos
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Briann's approach to patient care focuses on closely listening to her patients allowing a therapeutic relationship to develop. She believes in providing the client with all the information that they need to make the best decision for their care. Working in both inpatient and outpatient settings has allowed her skills to develop.

Briann earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Walden University, Minneapolis.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two nephews and watching them grow. 

Her special interests include: Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Geriatrics, Addictions

Frieda Gear
Physician Assistant

A pediatrician from Lima, Peru, Frieda completed the Physician Assistant training program of UW-Madison, then gained extensive experience treating addiction and mental illness across Wisconsin before coming to Collaborative Solutions in Psychiatry.  Gentle and compassionate, caring about the total health of her patients, she will work together with you toward your improved mental health, well being, and recovery.

 

She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian.

Therese Rowe
Physician Assistant

Therese earned her Bachelor of Science at UW-Madison and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Her background is in treating substance use disorders and further special interests include ADHD, anxiety, depression and adjunctive lifestyle modifications. Her mission is to provide her patients compassionate, collaborative care for their individualized needs in a nonjudgmental space - and to encourage people to prioritize their mental health. 

 

In her spare time, she enjoys being active and trying new healthy recipes with her husband and children.

Alexis Alt
Physician Assistant

Alexis completed her physician assistant studies at Concordia University Wisconsin where her training focused on cultural sensitivity as well as treating the mind, body, and spirit. Alexis strives to educate her patients on the specific benefits and limitations of treatment options to allow for shared decision making throughout her patients’ care. She looks forward to assisting each patient navigate their journey through mental health, incorporating not only pharmaceutical options, but alternative approaches as well.

In her free time, Alexis enjoys partaking in anything outdoors including going for walks, boating, paddle boarding, and farmer’s markets!

​

Her special interests include: Depression, Anxiety, especially Sports Anxiety, and Eating Disorders.

Brenda Bird
Physician Assistant

Brenda earned her Bachelor’s of Science at UW Madison and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.  She recognizes the significant impact that mental health can have on both physical and spiritual health and strives to provide her patients with compassion-focused care in a nonjudgmental environment that welcomes patients of all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.  Brenda loves working with patients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults.  Her special interests include autism, anxiety, bipolar disorder, conduct disorder, depression, eating disorders, OCD, panic disorder, and schizophrenia.

 

In her free time, Brenda enjoys being outside, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and golden retriever.

Laura Schwab
Physician Assistant

Laura is a Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes in psychiatry. She sees children, teens and adults with a variety of mental health concerns. She believes in working closely with patients to develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans to improve overall health and well-being. 

 

Laura earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Carroll University. She has experience working with people with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, substance use disorder, and survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence.
